The dimensions given are the dimensions determined on the motorcycle.
Example:
17 mm means: ½ inch nut with 17 mm wrench size (SW) required
Allen key 12 mm means: ½ inch nut with 12 mm hexagon (Allen key) required
Inside d= 18 means: ½ inch nut with front cylindrical part with a diameter smaller than 18 mm (eg 17.5 mm) necessary
If there is a hexagon socket (Allen key) on the motorcycle, a ½ inch tool socket with a cylindrical front part can be used as an adapter, which is inserted into the hexagon socket (Allen key) on the motorcycle. This eliminates the need for a large (and expensive) allen key!
